Realworld established its first offshore Software Development activities in Romania (Realworld Eastern Europe) in 1998. The Romanian office has since become central to our operations with highly skilled consultants who play a key role in Realworld projects.
Realworld increased offshore capacity within Indonesia, by opening an office in Jakarta, (2008) with the cooperation of local partners (MMI/Sutriana). Our Indonesian Software Engineers have undergone extensive GIS software training; including spending many months with our Realworld experts in The Netherlands, participating in 'real' programming projects using the available communication and collaboration tools. Our offshore engineers are now an integral part of our development teams.
With offices in Romania and Indonesia, we now have over 30 software developers with skills for complex GIS projects on GE-Smallworld, ESRI and Oracle Spatial platforms.
