ESRI SAP integration at Province of Noord-Brabant


On January 31st 2008 Marc van de Ven (manager at Province Noord-Brabant) together with Realworld Systems and SAP-partner TopForce showed the result of an ESRI-SAP integration application and a SAP-ESRI application. The integration combined the financial data in SAP-FI/CO “Sponsored projects in spatial development” with geographical data. Managers of Spatial development can now match planned goals for the Province with the actual projects in a spatial context.

ArcGIS Server provides the answer


The provincial authorities in Gelderland have a wide range of tasks. These include communication about spatial planning with the 56 municipalities that fall within the provincial boundaries. To exchange the large amounts of information about spatial planning properly, the province has hitched a ride on the national programme Digitale Uitwisseling in Ruimtelijke Processen (DURP = digital exchange in spatial processes).

Solution based on ArcSDE and ArcIMS


Staff at the province of Utrecht have to go ‘into the field’ to gather information for a lot of activities. Previously this information then had to be entered manually into the computer at the office.
